Under the Microscope

To examine our spores using a microscope, sterilize the slide and cover slip with rubbing alcohol. Then, place a small water droplet on the slide and add a small amount of spore solution. Place the cover slip over it and gently press down to disperse the spores. Now, you can observe the spores through the microscope.

• Shield the spores from direct sunlight, given their high sensitivity to light exposure
